Mrs. Hattie R. Jordan

                  Mrs. Jordan and Mrs Allen

                                       Hattie R. Jordan

We care about the future of Ruleville's young people.

That is why we have given our time, resources, finances,

and energy, mentoring them since 2005.

We want them surrounded by truthfulness, integrity, opportunity,

        and prosperity.

I am a 30 year veteran in ministry. I am a 25 year veteran of

Youth for Christ Intl. I know neighborhoods. I have been

assigned to some of the worst neighborhoods in Memphis.

I see a change in our city in the last few years.

         There is growing lawlessness.

How long before gun fire is the norm instead of the exception?

Problems have to be addressed by wise counsel. They don't

just go away. Youth problems  get increasingly worse without

          wise leadership, guidance and counsel.

Proverbs 26:6 says, Train up a child in the way he should go,

and when he is old, he will not forget your wise teaching.

        We care about Ruleville's reputation...

in Sunflower County, the entire state, and the world.

We want openess, accesibility, and respect from our leaders.

Opportunity  for jobs, housing, better roads, better and safer

communities, are waiting, if we make wise choices.

Mrs. Jordan is well known and respected throughout the state.

She has many  positive working relationships with

those in the state capitol who can help revive our city.

       We care about Ruleville's history...

Mrs. Hamer paved the way for an unlimited amount of help for

Ruleville.   The city cannot receive that help if mutual

relationships of respect are not  formed with the people who

      hold the resources.

God created us for fellowship. Without fellowship there is no

relationship. Without a relationship, nothing can be

      produced.

When leaders are apathetic about our city's history and it's

place in the world, the city will not prosper as it should.

When there is a lack of communication, there is death.

Relationships, communities, and cities die when there is

      defensiveness and no open dialogue.

We care about the citizens of Ruleville...

Citizens with generational social ills, addictions, health

        concerns, housing problems, recidivism, dependance,

family crisis', and hopelessness need strong, wise

LEADERSHIP in order to address these ills. The city

        cannot thrive without wise leadership.

Mrs. Jordan is truthful, sober, well respected, faithful

          educated and fearless.

We care about our Mississippi neighbors....

Mrs. Jordan is an Ambassador for our city. She faithfully

        attends

workshops, meetings, and institutes at  colleges and

universities where the Hamer archives reside.

There are also innumerable programs in other cities in

our city's honor . A leader of Ruleville must be aware of

what is happening, and care to make him or herself

available to others, to be able to network to help the city.

                We care about availability...

Hattie Jordan is a human being with strengths and

weaknesses like us all, but she is a person who will

be at  City Hall, in place, if elected.

She will have an office with an open door policy.

She has been one my advisors for five years. We dont

always agree, but she never runs from conflict , concerns, and

questions- she runs to them, and we work to solve them.
