The Crossroads

                                                                      This area is one of several "Crossroads location legends" in the Delta. Another one is a back road adjacent to highway 8, across from Dockery Farms. The third area that claims to be the Crossroads is further down south 61 in another small town. The truth lies with Robert Johnson only.

 The Crossroads,of course,  is a very famous song. It is the place where famed Bluesman Robert Johnson "allegedly" sold his soul, to gain the ability to play blues guitar.
